The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol and offensive actions in the direction of Bakhmut.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion on Friday evening, October 27.
“During the day, 47 clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched six missiles and eight air strikes, carried out 27 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas “Unfortunately, there were wounded and dead among the civilian population. Private residential buildings were destroyed and houses were damaged, as well as other civilian infrastructure,” said the General Staff report.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
At the directions of Kupyansky and Limansky, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations (attacks) and continued to regroup troops.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy tried to restore the lost position in the Andreevka area, where our defenders repelled five attacks.
At the direction of Avdeevsky, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Stepnoy, Avdeevka and Pervomaisky districts of the Donetsk region. Here the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks.
In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 19 enemy attacks.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all enemy attacks near Vodyanoye, Zolotaya Niva and Staromayorsky, Donetsk region.
In the direction of Zaporozhye, the invaders tried to restore the lost position in the northwest of Verbovoy, Zaporozhye region, but they did not succeed.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, offensive (attack) actions in the direction of Bakhmut, causing damage to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy in entire front line.
During the day, the Defense Forces aviation carried out five strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, and four more on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
