On the night of October 26, IDF tanks and infantry carried out a targeted raid in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Troops attacked numerous militants, infrastructure and anti-tank guided missile launch sites. After completing the mission, they left the area. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
The Israeli military noted that the raid was in preparation of the border area for “later stages of the war,” referring to a full-scale ground offensive on Gaza. Additionally, the raid is the IDF’s largest infiltration into the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.

Recall that The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel agreed to postpone the ground operation in the Gaza Strip at the request of the United States of America. The invasion of Gaza could begin after the US installs air defenses for its troops in the Middle East.
