In particular, in the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian military repelled 13 enemy attacks in the area of the settlements of Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka in the Kharkov region. And in the Liman direction, the defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks near Nadezhda and Makeevka, Lugansk region. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for October 26.
The Ukrainian military repelled a dozen attacks in the Bakhmut direction. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut. In the Donbass, the enemy is not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdeevka, and in the areas of Stepnoy, Avdeevka, Tonenkoye, and Severny, 15 attacks were repulsed.
In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka, and Ukrainian soldiers repelled 20 attacks by the Russians. All enemy attacks in the areas of Vodyanoye, Novoukrainka, Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region, were also repelled.
The offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues in the Melitopol direction, here the enemy is suffering losses in manpower and equipment.
Defense Forces aviation carried out seven strikes on areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces missile forces hit three ammunition, six artillery pieces and an enemy air defense radar station.
Let us remind you that the Avdeevka authorities predict that the city will be destroyed to the foundation in two to three weeks. Thus, since October 10, dozens of multi-story buildings were destroyed to the ground, and some of the houses were even hit by two rockets.
