This was reported today, October 24, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
According to the occupiers, the population of the Lugansk region is 1.5 million people, which is 40% or a million people less than at the time of the Russian occupation of the first territories in 2014. At the same time, the downward trend in population continues, the CNS notes.
It is noted that the depopulation of the region is accompanied by settlement by Russians, brainwashing of children and mass mobilization of ethnic Ukrainians for war against their native state.
At the same time, the enemy is actively deporting the population under the guise of evacuation and pursuing a filtration policy when people are forcibly removed to villages, the CNS notes.
The CNS notes that such actions by the Russians are a war crime according to the Roman charter.
For this, everyone involved will be punished, because de-occupation of the region is a matter of time,” the CNS adds.
