Due to ongoing shelling, some communities remain without power supply, DTEK said.
Over the past week, repair crews have resumed power supply to 68 settlements in Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions. Energy holding company DTEK announced this on Tuesday, October 24.
Thus, despite the intensification of the fighting in the Donetsk region, the company’s specialists restored power to the homes of more than 71 thousand consumers in 63 settlements that were cut off due to the Russian attack.
For more than five thousand customers in four settlements, the electricity supply was restored by repairmen in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The south of this region continues to suffer from enemy shelling.
Power grids were further damaged in the Odessa region. In particular, power engineers immediately restored electricity to the homes of more than 300 families who lost power as a result of another “arrival” on the night of October 17.
“Due to the ongoing shelling, there are still some settlements without electricity supply where energy company specialists do not have access to carry out work. the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message said.
We remind you that on the night of October 22, the Russians attacked one of DTEK’s thermal power plants. The plant’s equipment was badly damaged. The station is currently undergoing renovation.
DTEK also reported how many consumers have had electricity restored since the start of the all-out war in Russia.
