    .

The Latvian publication lsm.lv reported this today, October 24.

Thus, the municipality of the South Kurzeme region submitted an application for the transfer of six medical vehicles to its cooperation partner, the municipality of the city of Kamen-Kashirsky in Ukraine.

In addition, the Latvian Emergency Medical Services (NMPD), with the support of the government, is donating 61 used ambulances from its fleet to Ukraine.

The cars will be handed over to the Latvian non-governmental organization “Mūsu yjšta”, which will ensure their delivery to Ukraine,

It is noted that this year NMPD purchased new vehicles with EU funds and, after assessing available resources, came to the conclusion that some of the vehicles will no longer be needed, so they can be transferred.
