Ukraine is seeking to reach agreements with its allies on agreements on joint production of air defense systems.

This was stated in the address of President Vladimir Zelensky during the sixth German-Ukrainian Economic Forum under the slogan “Recovery, smart growth and security.”
He asked the event participants to pay attention to the defense sector of Ukraine.
Our production of weapons, equipment, shells, which we are increasing. This is our number one production priority. Some German companies have already begun substantive cooperation with us in this area. And we invite everyone else,” the head of state indicated.
Zelensky also made several “safety strikes,” including air defense.
We are building special relationships with the most powerful countries in the world to give our cities a reliable air shield against Russian terror. Of course, among such countries is Germany. Plus, we are working on agreements with partners for the joint production of air defense systems. This is a strategic task. I have no doubt that we are capable of implementing it,” the president noted.
Let us recall that earlier air defense also became a topic of negotiations during the Ramstein meeting.
