This was reported by the Poltava region police and local media.
During the initial investigative and operational activities, it was established that the deceased were three men (two of them 22 years old, and one 23) and an 18-year-old girl, the report says.
Law enforcement officers indicated that a visual examination of the bodies of the young people did not reveal signs of violent death.
To establish the cause of death, their bodies were sent for forensic examination, law enforcement officers indicated.
A local publication, citing doctors, reports that the boys and girl could have died due to drug use, although no traces of injections were found on the bodies.
An examination must establish the exact cause of death, and an investigation is underway. On this fact, the investigative unit of the police under the procedural leadership of the Poltava District Prosecutor’s Office entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations according to the qualifying criteria of Part 2 of Art. 115 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, as provided for in such cases.
