The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated this in its morning report.
In the area of responsibility of the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops “Tavria” in the Avdeevka direction, the Russian army does not abandon attempts to encircle Avdeevka, actively uses aviation, but the defenders of Ukraine staunchly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy.
The enemy’s offensive actions were unsuccessful in the Keramik, Stepnoy, Avdeevka, Tonetsky districts of the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled more than 10 enemy attacks. Over the past 24 hours, 55 military clashes took place between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the occupiers; the enemy has reduced the intensity of attacks in the Avdiivka direction, the General Staff reports.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction and had partial success south of Robotinoy.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces aviation carried out seven strikes on areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and three on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Let us recall that yesterday units of the missile forces hit eight artillery weapons, four areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, an electronic warfare station and a pontoon-bridge crossing of the Russian Federation.
