China has yet to say whether the country’s leader, Xi Jinping, will accept President Biden’s invitation to visit the United States next month.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Washington this week to prepare for the meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden in San Francisco. The Wall Street Journal reported this on Monday, October 23, citing sources of knowledge.
Wang is expected to meet with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the sources said. They intend to discuss the meeting of the presidents with him.
Also this week, a delegation of Chinese businessmen, cultural and sports figures will reportedly arrive in New York to participate in several public events.
It should be noted that next month there will be a summit of the leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation countries in San Francisco.
China, Russia and Iran are the new “axis of evil” that “the United States must face.” This was said by the Republican leader in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin visited China last week and the consequences of this visit will be better for Beijing than for Moscow.
