The “Important Stories” resource reported that the “Borz” battalion, part of the Redut PPK controlled by the Russian Ministry of Defense, began recruiting women for combat specialties and sending them to the front.
Now we have decided to try to introduce a female sniper squad and a female UAV squad. My task as a detachment commander is to prove that women are created not only for soups and children,” said a recruiter of the Borz battalion with the call sign “Vesta.”
The Borz detachment is part of the Redut PPK, which is led by the GRU. The detachment is commanded by a native of Volnovakha, Dmitry Zipir, with the call sign “Borz”; he worked in the MGB of the so-called DPR.
Important stories were discovered by a corresponding announcement on VKontakte.
Potential mercenaries are offered a six-month contract with a salary starting from 220 thousand rubles. If candidates do not have the skills to handle weapons, they are promised a month of preparation and training in Donetsk. For injury at the front, a payment ranges from one to three million rubles, for death – five million rubles. After the end of the contract, the status of a combat veteran is assigned.
Journalists, under the guise of candidates for a vacancy, called the recruiter of the Borz battalion with the call sign Vesta.
At first we didn’t have women, there were only men. Now we have decided to try to introduce a female sniper squad and a female UAV squad because women can do it too. My task as a detachment commander is to prove that women are not only created for soups and children,” she said.
As “Important Stories” found out, two girls publicly announced their participation in “Borz” – Yulia Sheremet from Donetsk (Demon) and Natalya Nikonorova from the Urals (Valkyrie). The first said that she was studying to be a UAV operator and sniper, the second was a medical instructor.
Also with them in one of the videos is a girl in a mask, who, according to her, comes from Bashkiria. The publication identified her as 23-year-old Karina Kambarova. She fights in the unit together with her husband Anton Borisov.
