Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Pyotr Andryushchenko announced this today, October 23, in his Telegram channel, publishing a corresponding video.
This is not just the history of Mariupol. This is the history of the entire East of Ukraine with a capital letter. Without exaggeration,” Andryushchenko emphasizes.
The Telegram channel of the Mariupol City Council notes that the gymnasium building was able to survive the First and Second World Wars.
After World War II, a school was opened here. Thousands of Mariupol children studied here. But in 2022, the Russians destroyed the building… Now instead of it there is a vacant lot, the report notes.
