In Zdolbunov, Rivne region, a fatal accident occurred involving a law enforcement officer. It was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.
It was learned that on October 21, a law enforcement officer driving a car hit a 58-year-old woman who was crossing an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
After the accident, the victim was taken to the hospital, but died there.
According to the test results, the driver was sober. Preliminary qualification of the offense: violation of road safety rules resulting in the death of the victim. An investigation is underway.
