Ukrainian defenders shot down 13 Shaheds, an X-59 aircraft missile and an attack drone, the type of which has not yet been established.
On the night of October 23, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian territory with attack drones, a Kh-59 guided missile and an unidentified drone. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted that the enemy launched the Shaheds from the south (Cape Chauda, temporarily occupied Crimea) and sent them in different directions – to the south, east and central regions of Ukraine. Air defense operates along the UAV route.
The Kh-59 missile was fired from a Su-34 aircraft from the airspace of a temporarily occupied part of the Zaporozhye region, and an unknown drone was probably launched from the northern border.
“Thanks to the successful combat work of anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, Air Force aviation in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, all air targets were destroyed: 13 Shahed-136/131 UAV, a Kh- 59 guided aircraft missile and an attack UAV (not established),” the military emphasized.
We remind you that on Monday night an air raid alert was announced in some regions of Ukraine due to an air attack by the Russian Federation.
Today, we know about attacks in the Khmelnytsky and Odessa regions, where debris from a downed Russian drone damaged a port infrastructure warehouse.
