The occupiers are in panic because of the breakthrough of the Ukrainian soldiers on the left bank of the Kherson region: Russian propagandists shouted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are threatening them in this area, and changed their rhetoric drastically . Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military announced the fight for complete control of the village of Krynki (30 km northeast of Kherson and 2 km from the Dnieper River).

Russian military bloggers claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintained positions in Krynki, but disagreed on the size of these positions. One of them claimed that Ukrainian troops advanced about two kilometers south of the settlement. Another said that Ukrainian forces controlled all of Krynki, and a third tried to refute this claim, arguing that the Russians had driven the Ukrainians out of positions on the southern outskirts of the village.

ISW states that the propagandists are trying to downplay the losses of the Russian army and claim that they are still throwing stones at the Ukrainian positions on the Antonovsky Bridge north of Oleshki (7 km south of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnieper River) and on the Antonovsky railway bridge to the north. of Poima (10 km southeast of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnieper).

A blogger said that the battle took place near Krynoki and Peschanivka (12 km southeast of Kherson and 3 km from the Dnieper).

ISW indicates that the Ukrainian Defense Forces maintained a presence on the left bank of the Kherson after they began larger-than-usual ground operations on the night of October 17-18.
