The Rostov region abandoned the idea of creating a garbage dump due to protests from local residents. They want to solve the problem by creating landfills in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
The Russian occupiers plan to create three landfills in the occupied Ukrainian territories for the storage of garbage, including from the Rostov region (Russia). This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.
It is noted that we are specifically talking about landfills, and not waste processing plants.
“In the Rostov region itself, the idea of creating a new landfill was abandoned due to protests from local residents, and therefore the problem is being solved at the expense of the VOT,” said CNS.
The enemy is currently working on design documentation for the creation of training areas.
The CNS states that the occupiers aggravated the environmental situation in the occupied territories and all those involved in this crime are known and held accountable for their actions in accordance with the law of Ukraine after the de-occupation of the region.
Let’s recall that in August it was also reported that Moscow plans to spend 1.3 billion rubles on the installation of garbage cans in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
