The Ministry of Defense announced the date for the next meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine.
The next meeting in the Ramstein format will be held in November this year. The final date will be announced later. The head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense, Illarion Pavlyuk, announced this in the telethon.
“The next meeting will be in November. The date will be known later. There will be a focus on preparations for the winter – air defense, artillery, ammunition. But the needs always depend on what the soldiers need at the front .And they continue to be clarified,” he said.
According to Pavlyuk, in addition to the meeting in the Ramstein format, there are also weekly calls between the Minister of Defense and his colleagues from partner countries.
“That is, the work is ongoing. The work is also carried out within the framework of the “coalition of opportunities,” he added.
We remind you that the 16th meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine took place on October 10. The meeting was personally attended by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. And the event itself was symbolically held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Ukraine, as part of the Ramstein-16 meeting, put forward an initiative to create a coalition to develop the defense industry.
