Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant made an evening visit to the IDF assembly area near the Gaza border and “closely monitored the force’s readiness for the expansion of the campaign.” Tens of thousands of troops are gathered near the border with the Gaza Strip and are awaiting the start of a ground offensive.
