The Israeli side will not interfere with the provision of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip from Egypt.
The first trucks with humanitarian aid for the population of the Gaza Strip passed from Egypt through the Rafah checkpoint to the territory of the enclave on Saturday. Al Jazeera TV channel reported this on Saturday, October 21.
We are talking about 20 trucks with medicines and medical equipment and food. Cars are checked at the border, after which they move on.
Earlier, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported that Israel will not interfere with the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip from Egypt, but will not allow it to be delivered from Israeli territory until the release of Hamas the hostages. Rafah is currently the only checkpoint where aid delivery can be arranged.
We remind you that the UN has declared that the Gaza Strip, which is blocked by Israeli troops, is on the verge of collapse. Body bags are even lacking.
Meanwhile, Gaza says more than 4,100 people have been killed in IDF strikes.
