The country’s Trade Ministry called its vice minister’s statement about sales restrictions in Moscow “incorrect”.
Information about Kazakhstan’s introduction of a ban on the export of 106 types of dual-use goods to Russia, disseminated by the media, is “incorrect.” The Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic reported this on October 19.
The department noted that the regulation of trade relations between Astana and Moscow occurs in full accordance with the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
“No bans on the export of any goods to the Russian Federation have been established in connection with anti-Russian sanctions,” the statement said.
At the same time, the ministry emphasized that export control over dual-use goods has been carried out for more than 20 years in accordance with international regimes and international obligations of Kazakhstan.
Let’s recall that the previous day, the Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, Kairat Torebaev, said that the country’s authorities banned the export to Russia of 106 types of high-tech goods that could be used in war.
