Moscow considers such a tone in relation to Russia and in relation to Vladimir Putin unacceptable, Dmitry Peskov said.
Emotional rhetoric from the mouths of high-ranking world politicians addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin is unacceptable. Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing on Friday, October 20.
In particular, he commented on Putin’s comparison to Palestinian terrorists from the Hamas movement by US President Joe Biden.
“We consider such a tone unacceptable in relation to the Russian Federation and in relation to our president,” Peskov said.
Continuing the topic, he said that today is “a very exciting and potentially dangerous moment in the international situation.”
“The speeches of various politicians, including high-ranking politicians and government officials, are full of emotion. But such rhetoric is probably not appropriate for responsible heads of state, and such rhetoric is probably not acceptable -accept us,” the Kremlin representative added.
Let’s remember that the previous day, in his speech, Biden condemned the actions of Hamas and Putin, saying that the attacks on Israel and the invasion of Ukraine have common motives.
“Hamas and Putin pose different threats, but they have one thing in common: they both want to completely destroy their neighboring democracy,” Biden said.
