The actions of Ukrainian forces on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region seem to be larger than previous tactical raids. Geolocation footage indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain a presence along the Dnieper coastline and near the Antonovsky railway bridge, despite counterattacks by the Russian occupation army.

This was reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Russian propagandists claimed that two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a marine infantry brigade crossed the Dnieper, defeated Russian troops in the area and won a bridgehead in the village of Krynki (30 km east of Kherson and approximately 2 km inland from the coastline).
Several Russian sources, including state traitor and collaborator Vladimir Saldo, claimed that the Russians managed to push back Ukrainian troops from the Poyma-Peschanovka-Pidstepnoe area (15 km east of Kherson) to the banks of the Dnieper and positions under the Antonovsky railway bridge.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recognized Ukrainian operations on the eastern bank and reported on October 19 that Russian aircraft had carried out strikes on Peschanivka, implying that Ukrainian forces were operating in the city.
