There are no private military campaigns in Russia; this is a continuation of the activities of the Russian special services, Andrei Yusov said.
The Russian Orthodox Church is part of the intelligence services of the Russian Federation. The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense Andrei Yusov said this on Thursday, October 19, in a telethon, commenting on the information about the emergence of the so-called “Orthodox PMCs.”
“The Russian Orthodox Church has nothing to do with faith and religion. It is part of the special services of the Russian Federation,” he said.
He recalled that in the past, priests of the Russian Orthodox Church took part in battles, blessed and blessed missiles and weapons, participated in Russian military training and encouraged ordinary Russians to commit genocide against Ukrainians .
Speaking about private military campaigns, which, according to the SBU, operate under the wing of the Russian Orthodox Church, Yusov emphasized: “There is no private military campaign in Russia – it’s all a continuation of the activities of special service of Russia, which is financed from the budgetary and close-budget structures and carries out the tasks set by the regime “.
In his opinion, the appearance of PMCs within the Russian Orthodox Church indicates that “the last masks have been removed from the Russian Orthodox Church FSB.”
Let’s recall that on Thursday the SBU reported that the Russian Orthodox Church was creating private military companies for the war in Ukraine.
Also today, the Verkhovna Rada supported in the first reading the bill banning the UOC-MP.
