Russian aggressors stormed a village in the Shostka district of the Sumy region. The State Border Service division area was destroyed, the department’s press service said Wednesday, June 8th.
“At around 12 noon, from the edge of the Russian checkpoint Troebortnoe, the Russians fired on the village on the border of the Shostkinsky district of the Sumy region,” the report said.
It is indicated that several enemy bullets hit the area of the State Border Service unit and destroyed it.
“This facility was opened in 2015 to handle illegal migrants. During the Russian Federation’s full invasion of Ukraine, it was not used,” the department added.
Recall that on the night of June 6, border guards recorded shelling from Russia three times. They fired in the Gorodnyansky district of the Chernihiv region, as well as in the Sumy and Akhtyrsky regions of the Sumy region.
