In the future, we are talking about the deployment of a political project aimed at the remnants of the pro-Russian population, the NSDC Secretary said.
Russia is trying to build a new intelligence network in Ukraine with the help of various pseudo-experts to destabilize the situation in our state. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, announced this on Facebook on Monday, October 16.
“Russia’s only chance to defeat Ukraine is to cause a split and plunge Ukrainians into internal confrontation, which the Kremlin has successfully done in recent decades – dividing Ukraine into different classes, creation of Russian proxy parties, corrupting politicians, falsification of history,” he wrote.
According to Danilov, thanks to the active work of the Ukrainian security forces in recent years, the largest purge of Russian agents was carried out. But Russia will continue to try to “grow a lot of new ones in exchange for a severed head.”
“Currently, by all indications, the FSB of the Russian Federation is making an active attempt to build a new intelligence network, placing great reliance on it. In the future, we are talking about with the deployment of a political project focused on the remnants of the pro-Russian population, and at the same time, an information intervention is carried out in attempts to undermine the process of internal Ukrainian destabilization,” said the Secretary of NSDC.
According to Danilov, the signs of such activity are the sharp intensification of all kinds of “experts,” “actor intelligence officers” and other types of fraudsters in promoting the Russian agenda in the Russian language.
He emphasized that these same people are shouting about the alleged “failure” of the counter-offensive, indicating the need to change the goals of the war (and it will no longer go to the borders of 1991), giving advice on how to fight the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and give false views about “conflicts” between the military. leadership calling for the acceptance of “good Russians” and ultimately indicating the need to negotiate with the Russian Federation.
The NSDC Secretary assured that law enforcement agencies are closely monitoring manifestations of nefarious acts, identifying and preventing them. But the Ukrainians “must demonstrate a high level of information cleanliness in order not to be contaminated with the products of Russian information activity.”
Earlier, Alexey Danilov warned that Russia has a Plan B for Ukraine. Therefore, Ukrainians should be vigilant and prevent the events expected by the aggressor country.
