According to exit polls, the coalition of the ruling PiS party is leading in the parliamentary elections in Poland (Law and Justice) with a result of 36.8% and a 5% gap from its closest competitors. AP reported this on Sunday, October 15.
So, as the survey shows, the coalition of conservatives in power since 2015 United Hands led by the party Law and Justice (PiS) Jaroslaw Kaczynski, according to the polls, receives approximately 36.8% of the votes (200 parliamentary seats).
Centrist Civic Coalitioncreated around the party Civic platform Donald Tusk, receives approximately 31.6% of the votes (163 parliamentary seats) according to exit polls.
Liberal-Conservative coalition Third way – 12% of the votes (55 parliamentary seats).
Left coalition Leviticus – 8.6% of the votes (30 parliamentary seats).
Far-right coalition Confederation – 6.2% of the votes (12 parliamentary seats).
Note that since 2015, power in Poland belongs to the Conservative Party. Law and Justice, which forms a mono-majority in the lower house of parliament, the Seimas. The country’s president, Andrzej Duda, is also a PiS nominee.
According to the State Election Commission of Poland, the voter turnout at 17.00 was 57.54%, reports Rzeczpospolita.
The highest turnout was recorded in two districts of Warsaw – 20 (63.21%) and 19 (63.17%). The third district with the highest turnout is district 39 (city of Poznan) with a turnout of 62.5%.
The lowest turnout was recorded in district 21 (Opole), where the turnout was 52.26 percent, district 22 (Krosno), where it was 54.41 percent, and district 29 (Katowice) – 54.55 percent.
At the same time, a national referendum is being held in Poland.
Four questions are presented for discussion:

Do you support the sale of state assets to foreign companies, which would result in the Polish people losing control over strategic sectors of the economy?

Do you support raising the retirement age, especially restoring the increased retirement age to 67 for men and women?

Do you support the acceptance of thousands of illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa under the forced relocation mechanism imposed by the European bureaucracy?
During parliamentary elections on October 15 in Poland, 460 members of the Sejm (lower house) and 100 senators (upper house) will be elected.
