The plane departed Tel Aviv for Bucharest late on Saturday evening, October 14. There are 207 citizens of Ukraine on board, including 63 children. The next flight is scheduled for October 15 to the Romanian city of Cluj. It is planned to take out 155 Ukrainians. Press Secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Nikolenko reported this on Facebook.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Israel reported that the first to leave the country were children, women, the elderly, as well as those citizens who had been in Ben Gurion for several days and could not fly due to the massive cancellation of flights by carriers.
Ukrainian diplomats continue to look for all possible ways to evacuate all Ukrainian citizens who want to leave Israeli territory. All Ukrainians who filled out the embassy evacuation form were advised to await further instructions from Ukrainian consuls.
Let us recall that the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk stated on October 14 that at least 260 Ukrainian citizens should be evacuated from Israel to Romania in the coming days, at what expense will the embassy buy tickets.
