Russia said its territory was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Sunday night, October 15, and that air defense forces allegedly “shot at aerial targets.” This was stated in a message from the Russian Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel.
The Russian department says its air defense systems allegedly intercepted 27 unmanned aerial vehicles, of which eighteen were in Kursk and two in Belgorod.
In addition, the governor of the Kursk region, Ruslan Starovoitov, reported the alleged downing of 12 UAVs.
