The Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Israeli military had attacked the airport and added that it was currently out of order.

On the night of October 15, Israel launched a missile attack on Aleppo airport in northern Syria. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

The Israeli military attacked Aleppo airport for the second time a week later. Before this, two missiles flew into Israeli territory from Syria.

As a result of the TsAGAL strike (TsAGAL’s own name is Tsva ha-Gagana le-Israel), the airport was put out of action.

Subsequently, the Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed this information.

“Israel launched an air strike from the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia, on the Aleppo International Airport, which led to material damage to the airport and its failure,” the department said.

A video of a possible attack on the airport has appeared on social networks, but its authenticity has not been confirmed.
