The transport corridor through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine is currently open only for military purposes and food delivery.
Civilians have not yet been able to use the land route from Russia until it joined Crimea through Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories. This was announced in the Telegram by the “head” of the government of the peninsula Sergey Aksyonov.
“The route along the mainland is open and free for the movement of military vehicles and delivery of goods, but it is too early to discuss the free movement of civilian vehicles,” he said.
According to Aksyonov, “in fact, there is a through passage” (through the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine – ed.) And it is now possible to pass through the Rostov region.
“For military purposes and for food delivery, it is appropriate, but for civilians it still takes some time,” the “leader” of Crimea stressed and added that “thanks to Russian Defense Ministry, this goal will be achieved. “
Recall, on June 7, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the opening of a land corridor between the Russian Federation and the annexed Crimea through the temporarily occupied regions in the south of Ukraine.
