The invaders pull their boats to the left bank, restoring supplies, but Ukrainian fighters continue to destroy them.
In the past 24 hours, two Russian boats have been destroyed. Natalya Gumenyuk, a representative of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, said this in a telethon.
According to him, the invaders towed their boats to the left bank, restoring supplies, but the Ukrainian fighters continued to destroy them.
“We always try to “cut” this lack of their river fleet,” said Gumenyuk.
Regarding the possibility of the Russians attempting to cross the Dnieper, he noted that it would be “a completely fatal story for them.” According to him, the Defense Forces are firmly entrenched on the right bank and will resist such attempts.
“Therefore, it is almost impossible, and even if some desperate DRG lands, it will fall into a trap,” the spokesperson said.
Gumenyuk added that such attempts have not been recorded to date, but there is maneuvering between the islands, where the Russians are trying to deploy observation posts, bring ammunition and exchange personnel. .
The spokesman noted that the left bank of the Kherson region has become the center of the Russian invaders, where they are trying to return the units after the hot fighting in Zaporozhye and the eastern direction. The enemy forces concentrated on the left bank were relatively strong, prepared and held the defense, but their numbers did not increase.
Let us remind you that in August the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed three enemy boats in the Dnieper delta.
