Ukrainians who leave for Poland will stop paying daily allowances and change the rules for employment.
In Poland, Ukrainian refugees from July 1 will no longer be paid a daily allowance of 40 zlotys per day (275 UAH) for food. This money will be left for Poles who receive Ukrainians into their homes. In addition, the rules for employment will also change. This was reported in the analytical center of the employment agency Gremi Personal, wrote Obozrevatel.
Officials also intend to make changes to work on a special law on the temporary protection of refugees from Ukraine. It is now sufficient for the employer to inform the employment service within 14 days from the date of employment of such person. According to government proposals, now such a message should contain data on the working hours of a foreigner and the amount of wages, which the employer will have to follow.
Representatives of the Polish government are confident that Ukrainians who came to Poland because of the war will adapt after four months of full support from the government and become more independent.
According to experts in the agency Gremi Personal, despite the fact that men are more desirable in the labor market, the number of offers for Ukrainian women is also higher than in March and April.
Approximately 7 million citizens of Ukraine since the beginning of the widespread war have gone abroad – mainly to EU countries. Experts believe that many Ukrainian refugees will remain in Europe even after the war.
