The International Olympic Committee suspended the work of the Olympic Committee of the aggressor country Russia due to the inclusion of so-called “sports organizations” from the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

We are talking about the so-called Olympic committees of terrorist organizations of the DPR, LPR, as well as the occupied areas of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
The Russian committee will not receive funding from the Olympic movement. The IOC also announced that it has not yet made a decision on the participation of Russian athletes in a neutral status at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and the Winter Olympic Games 2026.
Now the Russian Olympic Committee no longer has the right to act as a national Olympic committee.
Let us remind you that on July 27, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine allowed Ukrainian athletes to participate in competitions where Russians and Belarusians compete in a neutral status.
