The spokesman of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine claims that it is too early to talk about the general lack of shells among the enemies, but Russian warehouses and field points and the enemy’s logistics violations have been destroyed is already felt.
In the southern direction, the Russian troops switched to “economy mode” in the use of shells, but the situation remains complex and tense. Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, announced this at a briefing. Ukrinform.
“The total number of shellings from the left bank to the right currently remains at 60-70, slightly decreasing every day. The use of shells remains at 300-400. This is also not the highest score, as previously is much more Now we observe a certain “economic mode” in their use,” said Gumenyuk.
Gumenyuk argues that it is too early to talk about the general lack of shells among the enemies, but Russian warehouses and field points have been destroyed and violations of the enemy’s logistics are already felt.
In addition, according to the spokesman, in the last 24 hours the enemy has somewhat reduced the activity of tactical aviation, but intensified the fall of fragmentation ammunition from UAVs.
“Tactical aviation continues to be active in the direction of Zmeiny Island on the surface of the Black Sea. Where the Russians cannot show naval activity, they try to compensate for it from the air where they still feel an advantage,” Gumenyuk added.
The defense forces, as the spokesman said, are also recording enemy reconnaissance UAVs, which may indicate preparations for future attacks.
Earlier it was reported that in the last 24 hours the Defense Forces destroyed an enemy Su-25 fighter.
