Ukraine, along with the UN, is making every effort to unblock Ukrainian ports to prevent a global food crisis, the Foreign Ministry said.

Ukraine, together with the UN, is making every effort to unblock Ukrainian ports to prevent a global food crisis. This is stated in the relevant statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

It was reported that choices are being made to create a humane corridor for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products.

“Given Russia’s recent missile attack on the grain terminal in Nikolaev, we cannot deny Russia’s plans to use such a corridor to attack Odessa and southern Ukraine. So effective security guarantees are needed to Restore navigation.Such guarantees should be provided by providing Ukraine with arms to protect the coast from threats from the sea and by liaising with the navies of third countries to patrol the corresponding part of the Black Sea, “the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It was noted that so far there is no agreement on this issue between Ukraine, Turkey and Russia.

“At the same time, we emphasize that decisions must be made with the participation of all parties involved. Any agreements that do not take into account the interests of Ukraine we will reject,” said the Foreign Ministry.

The Foreign Ministry reported that Ukraine has already started delivering grain to the world market by trucks, rail and river transport.

“We are doing everything possible, but this issue can be comprehensively resolved only by unblocking the ports of Ukraine. We call on all interested partners, including Ukraine, to focus their search efforts a balanced solution that will remove Russia’s blockade of ports and provide clear security guarantees for the Ukrainian Black Sea coast and associated humanitarian corridors, ”the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that Turkey has prepared a roadmap to export Ukrainian grain.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said he did not trust Putin’s promises in the grain corridors.
