A video of a man being beaten by police allegedly in the presence of military registration and enlistment office workers has surfaced online. Criminal proceedings were opened.
The Chernivtsi regional territorial center for recruitment and social support has started an investigation into the fact that a man was beaten by the Chernivtsi police, allegedly in the presence of military registration and enlistment office employees. This was reported by the press service of Chernivtsi Regional TCC and JV.
“About the video distributed on social networks. The event took place on July 31, 2022. Criminal proceedings were opened on this fact, but there were no reports about it in Chernivtsi Regional TCC and SP. In connection with the publication of the video and the presence of criminal proceedings, an internal investigation is now being conducted to establish the circumstances of the incident. Ukraine and is taking decisive measures to prevent offenses and criminal acts against military personnel and employees of TCC and SP,” the military registration and enlistment office said.
Let’s recall that in September the State Bureau of Investigation began an investigation into an incident at the Sambira military registration and enlistment office in the Lviv region, where a man was beaten and threatened with a weapon.
