The risk of involving third forces in the situation in Israel is great, Dmitry Peskov said, referring to the United States.
The situation in Israel is of “deep concern” to Russia as it progresses through an escalation. Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing on Monday, October 9.
“In general, the situation really causes us deep concern. We are carefully watching what is happening. Right now the situation is developing by increasing the increase,” said the representative of the Kremlin.
Peskov also said that the risk of third parties getting involved in the situation in Israel is great, namely the United States, whose ships have already arrived in the eastern Mediterranean.
“There is a great risk that third powers will get involved in this conflict. It is very important to find ways to move to some kind of negotiation process as soon as possible to still reduce this escalation and get out of the regime of a force solution, ” he says.
Peskov recalled that the Middle East region “is traditionally a place where the interests of a number of states are intertwined, and these states do not always have a fruitful influence on the situation in the region.”
“There is a very complex balance of interests and balance of rights of different people, which must be ensured, and the security of these people, which must be ensured,” he emphasized and added that much work must be done after possibly diverted towards war.
Let’s remember that Russia transferred Western weapons to Hamas, which it acquired during the war in Ukraine. This is done with the aim of discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
