All those who died were participants in the Party of Nature celebration, held during the Jewish festival of Sukkot.

About 260 bodies were recovered from the peace celebration site in the village of Reim, located on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post in relation to the Zaka ambulance service.

The publication noted that on Saturday, October 7, the Nature Party celebration was held on the border of the Gaza Strip and Israel – a party in honor of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. However, the celebration was disrupted by massive rocket attacks and gunfire from Hamas militants.

Local media reported that terrorists shot people or took hostages.

As we have already written, on Saturday morning, October 7, Hamas militants launched a massive rocket attack on Israel and entered its territory.

The Israeli army responded by announcing the start of Operation Iron Swords and attacking the group’s targets in the Gaza Strip.
