The park administration reported this on Facebook.
All animals in the contact zone for the smallest children died: rabbits, guinea pigs and others, the report says.
An autopsy showed that the animals were poisoned with arsenic. Ecopark has already contacted the police about the poisoning of animals.
Feldman Ecopark was restored after destruction by the Russians.
It’s hard to understand the motives of whoever did this. It’s unpleasant to realize that somewhere walking along the streets of our city is a person no better than the Russian military who killed our animals at the beginning of a full-scale war. Unfortunately, the ecocide they started continues, and this is the next link. We filed a statement with the police, we hope that the investigation will shed light on this crime,” the eco-park noted.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the Feldman Ecopark, located in the vicinity of Kharkov, came under fire from the Russians. Many animals died. In addition, the occupiers even stole food from the animals (cabbage, carrots and other vegetables).
Subsequently, the eco-park was restored and the animals were returned there. On June 1, 2023, the first location was opened to the public.
