US to announce support for Israel today – Blinken

The US has received reports of missing and dead Americans. This information is being verified.

Israel, following an attack by the terrorist organization Hamas, turned to the United States for additional assistance. Washington is considering a corresponding request. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced this on CNN on October 8.

He said that President Joe Biden had ordered “to make sure that we give Israel everything it needs at this moment to fight the attacks of Hamas.”

“We’re looking at specific additional requests that the Israelis have made. I think you’ll probably hear more about that later today,” Blinken said.

The Secretary of State also said that the United States has received reports of missing and dead Americans, and that this information is being verified.

Let’s remember that on October 7, Hamas militants carried out a massive rocket attack on Israel and entered its territory. In response, the Israeli army announced the start of Operation Iron Swords and attacked the group’s targets in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military-political cabinet declared a state of war.

Hamas attacks in Israel have killed more than 600 people. It is known that among those killed in Israel there are two citizens of Ukraine.
