At least two Israelis and one Egyptian were killed as a result of an armed attack by a law enforcement officer.

In the Egyptian city of Alexandria, a police officer opened fire on tourists from Israel, killing at least two Israelis and an Egyptian. This was reported by Sky News Arabia, citing a source in the Egyptian security service.

It is understood that another Egyptian was injured.

The incident took place near a popular tourist site in Alexandria – Pompey’s Column.

The suspect in the attack is in custody and an investigation is underway.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry is reviewing information about the attack.

Let’s recall that in April, Palestinians shot at an Israeli civilian vehicle near the village of Hamra near the Jordan Valley.

The attack killed two sisters, and their mother was hospitalized in critical condition.
