Taras Kachka said that every quote from the Ukrainian side is seen in the context of the upcoming elections in Poland.
The Ukrainian side continues to seek a political solution to resolve the grain conflict with Poland. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka on the air of an information telethon.
“In fact, a lot of work has to be done to find a solution. Obviously, the complaint to the WTO (World Trade Organization – ed.) will lose its meaning after the Polish authorities lift their national ban. They understand this very well. ,” the officer stressed.
According to him, every quote from the Ukrainian side is perceived in the context of the election in Poland, which will take place in a week.
“The period for holding consultations within the WTO will not end at this time. Therefore, it is clear that after October 15 we will have the opportunity for a normal intergovernmental discussion. We have submitted all the proposal for solving this issue on the Polish side. .. We always believe that the complaint The WTO is the last resort if we cannot find any understanding,” he said.
Kachka added that Ukraine does not want to diffuse this conflict.
“On the contrary, we want a normal settlement, transit through Poland and the gradual opening of these markets,” added the Deputy Minister of Economy.
We remind you that Poland considers Ukraine’s decision to “pause” the process at the World Trade Organization related to the grain dispute to be insufficient.
