The Solntepek heavy flamethrower system is supposed to strike Ukrainian military positions conducting a counter-offensive.

The Ukrainian military destroyed the Russian Solntepek heavy flamethrower system in the Zaporozhye region. The SBU reported it on Saturday, October 7, that the employees provided information to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“During the reconnaissance, employees of the Zaporozhye Department of the SBU recorded the position of the Solntepek heavy flamethrower system, which is the “pride” of the Russian military-industrial complex. It was supposed to strike the positions of the Ukrainian military conducting a counter-offensive in this direction,” the report said.

Thanks to the coordination of SBU officers and artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the HIMARS strike destroyed the VVS-1A Solntepek with its crew and full ammunition.

Earlier this week, a spectacular video surfaced of the destruction of Russian self-propelled guns. This strategy was also struck in the direction of Zaporozhye.

And now it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed more than 20 Russian tanks in one day.
