At the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, an official from the Territorial Acquisition Center was mobilizing vehicles. At the same time, the officer chose cars to seize according to his taste. In March last year, he came with an armed escort to a parking lot located outside the territorial jurisdiction of the military registration and enlistment office. The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported this.
An official from the military registration and enlistment office seized all the cars to which the driver present at the site had the keys. Thus, four trucks were “mobilized” with a total cost of almost 11 million UAH. At the same time, the TCC employee “did not have established limits for the seizure of vehicles and relevant documents from local authorities regulating the mobilization of vehicles for these enterprises.”
The exposed official was declared suspected of abuse of power or official authority by a military official under martial law. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 12 years.
Let us remind you that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption found “strange” assets worth more than UAH 4.4 million from the head of the Sambir District Territorial Acquisition Center of the Lviv Region.
