The Anti-Corruption Bureau and the prosecutor’s office informed in absentia of suspicion to the son of the former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky, Igor, and the ex-general director of Ukrspetsexport, Pavel Bukin.

The case concerns the procurement of avionics equipment.
In 2019, Bihus.Info released an investigation into corruption schemes in the defense attorney. It said that the 22-year-old son of Gladkovsky, together with a number of people, in 2015-2017, was engaged in the supply of smuggled Russian parts for military equipment at inflated prices.
After this, Gladkovsky Jr. was informed of suspicions regarding other episodes.
The Ukrspetsexport excavator and the son of the ex-deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council are suspected of causing UAH 13 million in losses to the state. Gladkovsky allegedly enriched himself by more than 170 thousand dollars.
Bukin’s actions are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of official position, resulting in grave consequences. Gladkovsky’s actions – under Part 3 of Art. 27, part 2 art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – organization of the above abuse. Due to the fact that the location of the persons has not been established, they were notified of suspicion in accordance with Art. 135, art. 278 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
