According to the speaker of the Kharkov Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Dmitry Chubenko, the Russians might have thought that the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were at the wake for the deceased serviceman in Groza. He stated that the Russian army used an expensive and accurate missile for the attack.
Based on the motives for the attack, which are still unknown, it was possible that it was actually directed by someone from the locals. Because the Russians believed that there would be military personnel at this funeral and commemoration of the deceased military man. But there were only civilians there, mostly women, the speaker said on Radio Liberty.
Let us remind you that on October 5, Russian war criminals hit a cafe-shop in the village of Groza, Kupyansky district. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, a wake for a deceased fellow villager was held in the cafe. According to Klimenko, the hit was so accurate that there is a suspicion that one of the local residents carried out the blow.
