Children are taught to disassemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle, sing Russian patriotic songs and prepare for a military career.
There are at least 70 children’s camps in Russia, where the Russians forcibly “re-educate” Ukrainian children who were deported. Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets announced this on Thursday, October 5, during a national telethon.
According to him, camps for “re-education” of Ukrainian children operate both in Russia itself and in the temporarily occupied territories.
“I emphasize that they are trying to put Ukrainian children through such” training. The Russians, are likely to fight again against Ukraine or against other states. This is the “janissary” of the modern world… Today, we can say that at least 70 such camps are operating on the territory of the Russian Federation, in the temporarily occupied territories and in Crimea,” said Lubinets.
He noted that not only men, but also women were subject to “re-education.” They were taught to disassemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle, sing Russian patriotic songs and prepare for a military career.
“The Russians are deliberately taking actions aimed at forcibly transferring children from one ethnic group to another. This is one of the hallmarks of genocide as a war crime… Unfortunately, many international experts working on the issue of documenting war crimes still could not find evidence of committing crimes against humanity, which fall under genocide,” Lubinets stressed.
Let us remind you that according to Ukrainian data, the Russian Federation can take 200-300 thousand children out of Ukraine. There is accurate information about only 19,499 deported minors. 373 children were returned.
