Russia’s “governor of Sevastopol” Mikhail Razvozhaev said that in the Black Sea the Russian military was repelling an attack by two naval drones. He wrote about it on Telegram.
“The loud sounds in the area of the Northern Pier are crew members of the Black Sea Fleet (anti-underwater sabotage support – ed.). According to preliminary information, they are repelling the attack of two unmanned sea boats,” he wrote.
There were no reports of casualties or injuries.
The Northern and Southern breakwaters are artificially created structures in Sevastopol Bay, adjacent to the coast and protecting the harbor from storms. The length of the Southern pier is more than half a kilometer, the North reaches 300 m. Between them, the entrance to the bay is 415 m wide.
Earlier on Wednesday it became known that the special forces of the GUR landed in Crimea and struck the positions of the Russian invaders.
