“We are all thinking about you,” the Princess of Wales wrote on one of the packages during a visit to the Bracknell humanitarian hub for refugees from Ukraine.
Kate Middleton also left her handprint on a photograph dedicated to the first anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the aggressor country Russia.
During a visit to the Community Hub, Prince William’s wife made a Ukrainian ribbon brooch and chatted with a little Ukrainian girl.
When Kate Middleton was told that many Ukrainians had volunteered to help at the humanitarian center, she said: “It must be good for them that they can do something for the people in Ukraine.”
After the royal visit, representatives of the volunteer hub noted:
It’s very nice to see that the royal family notices us and pays attention to us. I hope this will lead to us getting support from other companies – we want to move forward.
