They will receive scholarships from September 1, 2023, and payments will be made within the framework of budget allocations. Among these scientists is the father of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, Alexander Zelensky, who is a Doctor of Science. The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a corresponding order. This is reported on the government website.
The website of the State University of Economics and Technology states that Alexander Zelensky received the academic title of professor of the department of computer science in 2005. Topic of the doctoral dissertation: “Methodological foundations of surveying support for planning and accounting of production in the information system for the management of an ore quarry.”
Now the president’s father works as the head of the department of computer science and information technology at the State University of Economics and Technology. He is also a member of the dissertation council at the National Mining University in Dnepr and the dissertation council at the Krivoy Rog National University. Alexander Zelensky is the author of 140 publications and co-author of four monographs.
According to the BBC, candidates for lifelong scholarships are nominated by educational institutions or local authorities. Then they are sent to the Ministry of Education and Science.
Let us recall that in September the Ministry of Education and Science presented a model of the admission campaign for bachelor’s programs in 2024. It is expected that the participant will complete four subject tests in one day: two subject tests each one hour before the break and two subject tests each one hour after the break.
